Sadly there is truth in this...

Seriously aren't we all victims of some persecution at some point in time ? I remember having a coat hanger thrown at me in a work place because of my pro-life opinion. Apply the logic of some and coat hangers should be identified as an symbol of oppression and be banned ?

When I was a kid we had an expression that I took to heart.

Sticks* and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me.

Maybe kids stopped saying it ?

I love email (sometimes)

One of my favorite things to post here is emails that are absurd. You remember the Deer Antler Plus and the E-Greeting ? Well here's an email from the senior pastor from my church. See if you can see why it's kind of absurd.

What kind of logic do you use to send out an email that you instruct people to ignore in the subject line ? Reverse psychology ? Maybe. I get test emails from listservs that I'm on that are probes to see if any of the receipients email addresses are no longer functioning. These are usually labeled as probes and an explanation of their intent is in the the body of the email.

Anybody have any ideas ?????
