What were they thinking ?
Every now and then I wonder. I see something and it boggles my mind to see the foolishness of an idea. For instance women sportscasters. You know you are over forty if you see a women sportscaster on TV and you can't help thinking (hopefully not out loud) "what does she know about football? " I know it's an irrational thing but the thought that there could ever be a female Howard Cosell (voice and all) is just more then I can stand. Captain Janeway on Star Trek - Voyager was bad enough. Here's another example.
I mean I know what they were thinking but what were they thinking?
