Rock and a sharp place.....
If you travel to Cazenovia, NY and turn south onto Lincklaen Street (between Seminary and Albany St) a few hundred feet on the left hand side you can see this wonderful and creative anti-brass plaque stealing device. Note that it has been put to good use already.
Seriously this rock (baby boulder maybe???) sits in a small garden right on the sidewalks edge. The wonderful rock is in loving memory of someone. It's just that it's not that big. I thought ever so fleetingly of stealing it or at least turning to face the other way. Some free advice for you. If you're on a budget with the memorial, just don't.
When I go if anyone is compelled to put a plaque somewhere in my memoriam I'd like ask that they buy a case of Blue Moon and a few oranges and have a party with friends.
